There is currently an upgrade script for those that are running v3.1.3-p2.

An ISO image is being prepared now...

Patch 2 is available for those you are running v3.1.3.

- Bug fix for the Asterisk Addons Package
- Binary which was changed in this new version (which only affected the upgrade package)

The upgrade package and ISO are also patched to include the above fixes as well.

Hi All,

We have found a critical bug in regards to the Asterisk Addons package and Asterisk 1.4.12. We are working on a patch currently and will have it posted as soon as it is finished and ready.

**BUG - Asterisk-Addons 1.4.1 and Asterisk 1.4.12 cause a restart of Asterisk when a call is completed and gets written to the SQL database for the CDR's.

We will also then patch the ISO and the upgrade package so if you have grabbed those you will want to grab the newest ones.

To immediately fix this do the following:

ssh into your system or at the console,

# cd /usr/src

1) tar -zxvf upgrade_3.1.x_to_3.1.3.tar.gz

You will need your license key to install this.

Hi all,

shift8 v3.1.3 will be released on the 22nd of October, 2007. We have the full install completed and are finalising/testing the upgrade script which we expect to have done early next week.

We will post more information once the new ISO is available for download. We will post the change log as well.

This release contains many major bug fixes that will help the system function smoother and be more reliable. The main new feature(s):

If you have purchased a copy or copies of shift8 that are pre-v3.0 you should contact ATP Support (support@austechpartnerships.com) and quote your invoice number and we will then give you access and a license key.

Please contact us immediately if you are interested in going down this path. Please keep in mind that if you want to upgrade to the latest version you will have to install from the ISO. This will put you inline for the upgrades in the future.

New Patch - 3.1.2-p2

This patch fixes FTP and SCP backup types where there were problems with the binary transfers. If you use these features or intend to use these features in the Backup Management please patch your system as soon as possible.

The SCP Problem is to do with a bug in libssh2 where it truncates binary files that are over a certain size. So we have put in a workaround to fix this problem.

We have found a few bugs in the latest version of shift8. Mainly permissions on the system and a few typos in the code.
